The International Film and Multimedia Festival is an integral part of the XIX World Congress on Safety and Health at Work. It will take place from September 11 to 15, 2011 in Istanbul. The Festival offers an overview of films and multimedia productions from all over the world, and provides an opportunity to present your products to a major group of influential, international safety and health professionals.
The Festival is organized jointly by the International ISSA Sections “Electricity” and “Information”.
Your active participation at the Film and Multimedia Festival would be most welcomed and will substantially contribute to the success of this unique event.
Eligibility Criteria
All productions about safety and health at work (including films, drama, news, documentary, animation, spots, social media, multimedia, web or computer-based training and virtual reality applications) produced as from January 2007 are eligible for entry into the Festival.
Closing Date
The closing date for entry is January 31, 2011.
Submission Procedure and Material Specifications
There is no limit to the number of entries or the presentation time of productions. All entries must be submitted with the entry form that is available online at

Languages
The official languages of the World Congress are English, French, German, Spanish and Turkish Please use one of the official languages in completing your entry.
Judgement and Announcement of Winners
An international jury will select the best productions. Prizes will be awarded.
Pre-judging is scheduled to take place at the end of March 2011 and the list of selected products will be announced on the official website (http://www.safety2011turkey.org) and in the final announcement of the World Congress.
All selected products are available to the World Congress participants in a Film/Multimedia Corner and are listed in a catalogue (CD-ROM) that will be distributed to all participants. Selected films will be shown in a movie theatre during the World Congress.
Award Ceremony
Prizes will be awarded at the Closing Ceremony of the World Congress on September 15, 2011 in Istanbul.

Participants must own all rights to the works submitted and model releases are the participants’ responsibility. If the work submitted contains any material with a copyright by a third party, the producers must obtain permission for the use of that material.
